Official opening of the III International Biennial of Wood Arts of Paredes and the exhibition “Children of the Earth, Children of the Forest” at the new Furniture Museum.
Central exhibition of the III International Biennial of Wood Arts of Paredes, curated by Helena Mendes Pereira. Occupying the temporary exhibition hall and three other rooms of the Furniture Museum, it brings together works by plastic and visual artists from different generations who work with wood as a medium, and not just as a support.
The selection seeks to establish a circuit that challenges the history and the stories told by the Furniture Museum, creating relationships with the harrowing world in which we live.
