Sounds in Heritage is back for its 9th edition. 17 concerts in 17 unique locations across the Porto Metropolitan Area, where history meets sound and the celebration unfolds, featuring activities and moments to cherish forever.
Emmy Curl, born and raised in the high mountains of Vila Real, brings to life the ancient melodies of Transmontano and Celtic folklore that remained forgotten for a long time. The artist is dedicated to valuing and respecting Portuguese cultural heritage, incorporating a modern perspective and her own interpretive style into the complex rhythmic and harmonic layers of these traditions. Emmy Curl will release her new album “Pastoral 2.0” in September 2026, a record that continues the research work carried out with “Pastoral,” released in 2024 and winner of the José Afonso Award.
